chocolate chip cookies

This was a delicious weekend project of trying to optimize the classic chocolate chip cookie. This is the winning recipe out of 6 batches.

ingredients

  • ​1dl ½ cup (100g) Sugar

  • 1 pinch (1.2g) Table salt

  • 1 tbsp (14g) Baking powder

  • 2 tbsp (42g) Syrup (Ljus sirap)

  • 2.5 dl 1 cup (150g) All-purpose flour

  • 75g ¾ stick Butter

  • 100g 3 ½ oz chocolate chips

makes 12 cookies

assembly:

  1. Set the oven to 180 °C 356 F.
     

  2. Melt the butter.
     

  3. Mix everything together.
     

  4. Prepare a tray with parchment paper. Divide the mixture into 12 spheres.  
     

  5. Bake in the middle of the oven until golden, about 8-12 min.
